RE: Hot Tub
Upon review of our files and notification from an electrician, you are hereby order to discontinue
the use of the hot tub, disconnect the electrical immediately.
1. Hot tub not on a dedicated circuit (3/29/01 inspection)
2. No insulated ground wire (3/29/01 inspection)
3. Hot tub not GFCI protected (3/29/01 inspection)
4. Water in service panel (9/5/01 electrician comment)
5. Wiring for hot tub is undersized (#14 ga. Wire used, 50A circuit required (9/5/01 electrician
comment)
You are hereby ordered to discontinue the violation at the above referenced property under 1995
CABO, section 106.0, as adopted as the Connecticut State Building Code.
