Box 403 Colchester, CT 06415 Re: 6 Allison's Way, Montville Dear Mr. Solesky: On July 8, 2005, a new plan for a septic system for the above property, prepared by Dutch & Associates, was submitted to the District. The septic system and house have been moved downgrade. The house is now located where the septic system had been previously designed. There are no test holes or percolation tests in the area now proposed for the septic system. Prior to the District reviewing the new septic system plan, a minimum of two test holes must be dug in the area of the proposed system, and two test holes dug in the proposed reserve area. A percolation test must also be done in the area of the proposed septic system. As a new plan has been submitted and the septic system relocated, Permit # 2106, issued on June 22, 2005 for 6 Allison's Way is hereby suspended. No work may be done until the new plan is reviewed and approved, and a revised septic system permit is issued. Fees in the amount of $175.00 are due to the District for review of the new plan, the additional test holes, and reissuing the septic permit. Please have your contractor contact the District to schedule the testing. Sincerely, Patrick McCormack, MPH Director of Health for the Uncas Health District c: Montville Building Department
