As a result of this plan review the following must be complied with before this Office would approve a building permit for this project: 1. An electrical plan must be submitted. 2. The Connecticut Fire Safety Code 1999 chapter 28, section 28-2.10 requires illuminated exit signs within this occupancy. 3. The Connecticut Fire safety Code 1999 chapter 28, section 28-2.9 requires emergency lighting within this occupancy. 4. The Connecticut Fire Safety Code 1999 chapter 28, section 28-5.2 and NFPA 58 regulate the type of propane heaters that can be installed within this occupancy. Specification sheets must be submitted for the propane heaters. 5. The Connecticut Fire Safety Code 1999 chapter 28, section 28-5.2 and NFPA 58 regulate the type of piping that can be used in this occupancy as well as the tank locations. Crash protection will be required around the propane tanks. 6. There are no detailed plans on the egress from the mezzanine area. Supply details on the egress. 7. NFPA 88B section 4-3 requires portable fire extinguishers properly mounted with proper signage within this occupancy. 4 The above code issues must be satisfied before this Office would recommend approval for a building permit.
