No Building Permit has been issued, and your application has expired.
Construction without the required permit(s) is a violation of the 1999 Connecticut
Building Code. You must contact the Building Department with a written plan of
compliance within ten days of receipt of this notice to avoid legal action.

Construction Document Submission Requirements
❑ Two sets of construction documents including site plan
❑ Perruitsign-off sheet
❑ Copy of contractor licenes/registration
❑ Special inspection form completed (BOCA 1705.0)
❑ Independent structural review for structures that exceed the Threshold limits
❑ Registered design professional stamp and signature on all construction documents for new construction, alteration, repairs,
expansion, addition or modification of any building containing five thousand (5,000) square feet of total area or more. All
assembly, educational, institutional, high hazard, transient residential shall be stamped and signed by a registered design
professional. Also all business, factory and industrial, mercantile, moderate and low hazard storage, having three stories or
more or exceed 30,000 square feet total gross area, and nontransient residential dwellings having more than 16 units or
24,000 square feet total gross area per building.
❑ The fire resistance rating of all structural elements are designated on the plans, including details (BOCA 703.1).
❑ Penetrations for electrical, mechanical, plumbing and communication conduits, pipes and systems for buildings more than
two stories in height shall be indicated (BOCA 703.2)
❑ Means of Egress - show in sufficient detail the location, construction, size and character of all exits, together with the
arrangement of aisles, corridors, passageways and hallways leading thereto (BOCA 1003.1)
❑ The number of occupants, except use groups R-2, R-3 and I-1, shall be designated on every floor, and in all rooms and spaces
as required by the code official (BOCA 1003.2)
❑ The design loads and other information pertinent to the structural design shall be clearly indicated for all parts of the structure
(BOCA 1603.1). This shall include floor loads, roof loads, snow loads, wind loads and earthquake design data and any other
special loads
❑ Soils report prepared by a registered design professional describing the soil in the ultimate loadbearing strata, including
sufficient data to establish its character, nature and loadbearing capacity (BOCA 1804.1)
Fire Protection Systems
❑ Fire Protection System drawings shall include information on the contents, occupancy, exposure to any hazard, extent of
system coverage, suppression system design criteria, supply and extinguishing agents, location of any standpipes (903.1)
❑ The location and method of operation of detection and alarm devices (BOCA 903.1)
Electrical Systems
❑ Electrical drawings shall show the location and capacity of all lighting facilities, electrically operated equipment and
electrical circuits required for all service equipment (BOCA 2702.1)
Mechanical systems
❑ Mechanical construction documents shall show in sufficient detail all applicable features and clearances of the appliances and
systems, including: size and type of apparatus; construction of flue, stack or chimney; stack connections; type of fuel; method
of operation; and the method of compliance with all regulations for the class and type of equipment installed (BOCA 2802.2)
❑ State inspection may be required for boilers and hot water heaters (C.G.S. Sections 29-231 through 29-249)
Plumbing systems
❑ Plumbing construction documents shall show in sufficient detail the layout and spacing of fixtures; the size, material and
location of all building and storm sewers and drains; and the soil, waste, vent and water supply piping (BOCA 2902.1)
❑ Diagrammatic elevations of the soil, waste, vent and water supply lines with traps and valves, and the location and size of the
public sewer or other disposal system (BOCA 2902.2)
Elevators and Conveying Systems
❑ Construction documents shall show in sufficient detail and indicating the location of the machinery room and equipment to
be installed, relocated or altered; and all supporting structural members, including foundations (BOCA 3003.1)
❑ The construction documents shall indicate all materials to be used and all loads to be supported or conveyed (BOCA 3003.1)
❑ State permit and inspections are required (C.G.S. Sections 29-191 through 29-200)

Thank you for contacting CME Associates, Inc. reprding the updated mapping you need at the
Treat's Pool and Spas sitm. We have re .wed 6c item on tits list that you forwarded to us and
have prepared the follow ing proposal for your review.
ME will update the existing plan to address the comments in the letter dated October 18, 2044
to Uncassville Properties, LLC. from Colleen Bezanson.
Based on our current workload, we anticipate completion of the work listed above within 6 to 12
weeks following the receipt of your signed agreement to proceed.
The cost for only the services described above is $2,980.00. This fee does not include any
additional services that you may request. Any additional services that are requested of CME will
be billed at our standard hourly rates, a copy of which is attached, unless other billing
arrangernents are made prior to commencing. Nor does it include any filing, application, or other
fees not specifically noted above.
If you would like us to proceed with this work, please sign, date, and return one copy of this
agreement to our office. We will bill you at the time of completion with net terms of 30 days.
Please take notice that failure to pay an invoice within 30 days will result in a work stoppage by
CME. CME will only continue with the work when all outstanding invoices have been brought up
to elate,."
