If building and zoning permits are not applied for, with the appropriate plans, within two weeks, I will be forced to seek legal action on behalf of the town of Montville and ask the court to have the addition removed at your expense. It appears that the exact"location of the septic tank and leaching area is unknown, therefore I can only comment. that the Public Health Code requires that a septic tank be a minimum of 15' from the building served and the leach field also must be a minimum of 151. Treat has retained the engineering firm of Total Technology, Inc. of New London, Connecticut to prepare engineer drawings of the building addition which has been constructed at the above noted address. Once the 'as built' plans have been prepared, they will be submitted to the Montville Building Inspector for approval. Since Mr. Treat, the owner of the property, is in Florida until Aprl 11, 1988, I have discussed this matter with his son. His son informs me that the site plan was prepared by David King in October, 1987. Mr. Murphy suggested certain changes be made to the plan, and it was his understanding that these changes were made by Mr. King and submitted to Mr. Murphy. Evidently, from our discussion, these revised drawings have never reached Mr. Murphy's office. By copy of this letter, I am informing Mr. King to forward the revised site plan to Mr. Murphy immediately so that the zoning permit for this addition may be issued.
