Dear Attorney Heller:
Please be advised that the Planning & Zoning Commission has scheduled Public Hearing
for the above-noted Special Permit renewal application for June 12, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the
Town Council Chambers at Montville Town Hall.
At this time, pursuant to Section 17.3.c.3 of the Zoning Regulations, you should send out,
via certified mail, letters to the abutting and adjoining property owners notifying them of the
scheduled hearing. I am enclosing a copy of the Public Hearing Notice that is being published in
the New London Day, along with a copy of Section 17.3.c.3 of the Zoning Regulations.
It is also imperative that you bring a copy of the letter, along with the mailing receipts
from the certified letters, to this office, on or before Friday, June 8, 2012.

17.3.c.3. Notice to Adjoining Owners. The applicant shall also notify all
adjoining landowners of record of the date, time and place of the public
hearing of the Commission at which said Special Permit is to be
considered no less than ten (10) days preceding the date of said hearing,
and shall submit proof to the Planning Office of such notification. No
notice shall be required for the continuation of a public hearing once it
has been opened.
