It is understood sewage effluent from this dwelling is pumped to a leaching area located on the rising hillside which. is locate off the lawn area. A right-of-way for power lines also crosses the upper portion of the property. It was not apparent how sewage was getting to ground surface except the area in question is at the lower terrain in the area of the pump chamber and sewer pressure line going to the higher leach system, It is understood the sewage pump and pump chamber recently required some repairs. Such a condition is in violation of Section 19-13-B10 c(f) of the state Public Health Code and is to be abated. It is recommended the owner(s) engage the services of a qualified person to determine the actual source of sewage and to have corrective measures taken. Whit the permanent solution to the problem will be connection to public sewers which are presently being installed on the street and throughout the general area immediate improvement and correction is indicated for this nuisance and public health problem.
