On November 4, 1931, the Montville Zoning Board of Appeals considered a request for a
variance from the Montville Zoning Regulations Section 7.21, to allow them to build a
porch 61', 3 1/8" from the center road line.
The Board GRANTED the variance.
The land is described as follows:
A certain piece o parcel of land, with the buildings and improvements thereon, situated
in the Town of Mo tville, County of New London and State of Connecticut, located on the
northwesterly side of Alaska Road, being Lot No. 204 on a map entitled, "Subdivision Map
Section IX Montville Manor Property of The Hunter Construction Co., Montville, Conn.
Sheet 2 of 3 Scale 1" = 40', Date 1-18-63 Morton S. Fine & Associates Hartford-Norwich
Connecticut", which map is on file in the Town Clerk's office in said Town of Montville,
to which reference may be had, and being more particularly bounded and described as follow!
NORTHEASTERLY - b Lot No. 203 on said map, one hundred fifty (150) feet;
SOUTHEASTERLY - b Alaska Road, one hundred (100) feet;
SOUTHWESTERLY - b Lot No. 205 on said map, one hundred fifty (150) feet; and
NORTHWESTERLY - b Lots Nos. 179 and 202 on said map, partly by each, in all,
one hundred (100) feet.
The Hunter Constriction Company for itself, its successors and assigns, reserves a right
of way over the a ove-described premises for the purpose of installation, maintenance and
repair of a drainage system, more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at a point which marks the southerly corner of the above-described premises and
the westerly corner of Lot No. 205 on said map;
THENCE - running northwesterly along said Lot No. 205, 150 feet to a point;
THENCE - running northeasterly along Lot No. 179 on said map, 25 feet to a point;
THENCE - running southeasterly, 10 feet to a point; said line being parallel to
the northeasterly line of said Lot No. 205;
THENCE running southwesterly in a line parallel to the northwesterly line of the
above-described premises, 15 feet to a point;
THENCE - running southeasterly in a line parallel to the northeasterly line of said
Lo 205, 140 feet to a point;
THENCE - running southwesterly along Alaska Road, 10 feet to the point or place of
beginning.
Said premises are subject to building, building line and zoning restrictions and certain
restrictive covenants, easements and agreements as of record appear.
Date of Decision - November 4, 1981.
