Good after noon, Mark,
Attached is a preliminary detail of the trench. I am showing a 36" wide x 12" deep
concrete
trench filled with 5" to 6" riprap. A layer of filter fabric will separate the riprap from
the
processed travel course (2"-minus). The riprap should have enough open space to
lower the water surface elevation soon after a large storm. Big storms will always over top the road.
I think 3 - 6" PVC pipes would do a better job. We can use the pipes as a feasible and
prudent alternative.
I think the wetlands meeting is this Thursday night.
