Dear Ms. Radford,
Per your request and on behalf of the Montville Inland Wetlands Commission, CLA has conducted a full review of the New London Turnpike Sidewalk & Rehabilitation Project revised application. The following items are included in CLA’s review:
1. Site plans by Freeman Companies LLC titled “New London Turnpike Topographic
Survey Prepared for the City of Norwich, Connecticut, 5 sheets, dated May 6, 2022.”
2. 25IWC29-New London Tpke-Applicant’s Response to SS Comments dated 1-14-2026
3. CTDEEP Reporting Form
4. FEMA Flood Map
5. Locus Map dated 1-14-2026
6. NRCS Hydrologic Soil Group Map dated 1-14-2026
CLA has determined that all previous review comments have been addressed. According to Montville IWC regulations, wetland soil scientist delineation and soil report are not required for this project unless requested by the commission. Due to the commission’s determination that the
application does not constitute a significant activity, the delineation is not required.
