Proposal: Town acceptance of two portions of the cul-de-sac located at the northerly terminus of Carol Drive together with the drainage easement required in order to accommodate drainage improvements constructed in conjunction with the subdivision as shown on plan, attached,
entitled “Resubdivision Map Prepared for Bruce R Duchesneau Carol Drive & Sharp Hill Road
Montville, CT Dated 7/01/2015, Final Rev. 1/27/16, Prepared by Killingly Engineering Associates Civil Engineering & Surveying 114 Westcott Rd, Killingly, CT 06241.” Asst. Planner Comments:
The 2 parcels are shown on the above referenced plan as parcel “A” and parcel “B”. The 7 lot
resbudivsion was approved on January 12, 2016. Also attached is a GIS map of said parcels. The town engineer has reviewed the As-Built entitled “As-built Location Survey Prepared for P & H Construction & Septic Services, LLC, Carol Drive, Montville, CT, Prepared by Advanced
Surveys, LLC, Dated 8/6/23, Rev. 4/24”. Comments dated June 6, 2024 state “CLA has
reviewed the conditions at the end of Carol Drive with John Carlson on May 22, 2024. We found that the punch list of work outlined in a letter from this office dated February 27, 2024, has been completed and is in good condition.”
The town attorney, Richard Cody, has reviewed and approved the Certificate of Title and
Warranty Deeds. The following Motion is suggested for any favorable report to the Town Council:
I make a motion to forward a Favorable Report in accordance with C.G.S. §8-24 to the Town
Council for the acceptance of Parcels 023-063-009 and 023-063-010 together with the drainage easement required in order to accommodate drainage improvements constructed in conjunction with the subdivision as shown on a plan entitled “Resubdivision Map Prepared for Bruce R Duchesneau Carol Drive & Sharp Hill Road Montville, CT Dated 7/01/2015, Final Rev. 1/27/16,
Prepared by Killingly Engineering Associates Civil Engineering & Surveying 114 Westcott Rd,
Killingly, CT 06241” which was approved by the Planning & Zoning Commission on January 12, 2016.
