All the driveway aprons need to be flush with the road edge. In the winter month we need to plow the snow off the road edge to keep it from melting during the day and refreezing at night. All the driveway aprons must slope back onto the property. Keeping snow melt during the winter from going into the road and refreezing at night creating an ice problem in the corner. The current swale along the road edge must be maintained. There is a problem with Japanese Knot weed growing in that area. If they dig out the Japanese knot weed, they must maintain the same grade/swale. It currently slopes away from the road. Thanks John Carlson Director Of Public Works Town of Montville 860-848-7473
