5ofthe10parkingspacesprovidedwestoftheMoheganChurcharewithin40’ofthesoutherystreetUneofChurchLane.Thesespacesarepre-existingspacesconstructedduringtherenovationofMoheganChurchin1998.12.RevisenotestoincludepropertymaintenanceperZRsection18.10“Theownerofthepropertyusedforparkingand/or‘oadingshaltmaintainsuchareaandallrequiredsidewalksandbufferareasingoodconditionswithoutholesandfreeofalldust,trash,andotherdebris.”Response:Reflectedontherevisedsiteplan13.ReviseplantoshowlightingperZRsection18.14“Adequatelightingshallbeprovidedinalllotsofmorethanfifteen(15)spacesexceptwheretheCommissionmaydeterminethatsuchparkingareaswillneverbeusedatnight.Requiredlightingshallbearrangedandinstalledtominimizeglareonadjacentproperty,andadjacentstreetsandhighways.FullcutoffluminariesshallbeinstalledwherecommercialorindustrialusesabutresidentialDistrictsoruses.Inthisinstanceallexternallightsshallbefittedwithopaqueshillingwhichshallpreventdirectlightemissionaboveahorizontalplanethroughtheluminaire’slowestlightemittingpart.”Response:Revisedsiteplanshowslighting(parkingislessthan15spaces).Thereislightingintheparkingareaandonthestructurewhichwillprovideproperillumination.14.Providedetailsheetforsignage,lighting,ADAparkingrequirementsanddumpsterenclosure.Response:TherevisedplanwillshowonlysignageisoneHandicapparkingspacedesignationandlighting.Thereisnodumpster,astherewillbeminimaltrashandregularpickupbytheMoheganTribeofIndiansofConnecticut,solememberoftheowner.Page3of3
