Applicant’s Engineer states that the lighting from Route 32 is sufficient. 2. Location of dumpster, not per approved Plan. Plan calls for it to be placed at the rear of Building #1 allowing for tenants to walk to it on sidewalks versus cutting through traffic/parking lot. 3. Only 31 of 32 required parking spaces on site. Per regulations – 2 spots per each unit. During inspection on 5/28/2024, it was noted that a parallel spot had been added to the northwest portion of the property. Said spot is facing right to a handicap spot with no stop bar. 4. Handicap “VAN” sign not installed, per approved Plan. Applicant’s Engineer would like to wait for Phase II now. 5. Location of retaining wall has been moved and Applicant’s Engineer signed off on location. No request for modification has been received and this change should be reviewed by Town Engineer. 6. Guide rail is wood vs. metal, as required by approved Plan. Applicant’s Engineer signed off that it is acceptable. No request for modification has been received and this change should be reviewed by Town Engineer. 7. Sidewalk leading to parking lot at the rear of the property is not flush with pavement and could pose to be a tripping hazard. 8. (6) bollards located in the front of Building #1 were to be removed, per the approved Plan and more specifically as a condition of the Town Engineer. 9. (1) bollard was to be installed at the front left corner of Building #1, no done per the approved Plan. 10. (4) bollards have been installed at the rear of Building #1, not on approved Plan. 11. Final approval from State of CT DOT has not been obtained as they are waiting for the final paving, per email received from Daniel Hutchinson on 5/30/2024. 12. Final As-Built must include “Finished Grades”. As-Built provided as of 5/30/2024 does not include the “Finished Grades”.
