Dear Ms. Burdick:
On behalf of the Owner, The Nevar Company, Solli Engineering is pleased to respond to the comments provided by email on
August 8th, 2023. A response to each comment is provided in bold when applicable.
Land Use Director Comments
1. The subdivision application is incomplete as submitted. Staff review of the application reveals it to be a resubdivision.
The Applicant shall verify that the division of 958 Route 163 to create one new lot is a “resubdivision” v.
“subdivision” and shall submit a chain of title letter by a licensed land surveyor certifying one or the other.
The application has been revised to indicate that it is in fact a “resubdivision” and not a “subdivision.” Plans
have been modified accordingly and a confirmation letter from the Applicant’s attorney has been included as
part of this submission.
2. All Town staff comments shall be addressed.
Solli Engineering has responded to the Town of Montville Office of the Assistant Planner comments and the
Interim Zoning & Wetlands Officer’s comments.
3. Applicant shall submit review comments from ST CT DOT District II for the proposal for new driveway(s), including
sightline.
Acknowledge; the Applicant will submit all correspondence that will occur between the Applicant and the CT
DOT in regard to the proposed driveway.
Please review the above response to comments. If you have any further comments or questions, please provide them at your
earliest convenience. We look forward to working with you and the Planning Department to satisfy any outstanding issues.
