QEVELQeMEtLT
Proposed Development will allow for the creation of 1 rear lot with an
existing house and 1 new huil-ding lot. A portion of the driveway to the
existing house will become a common driveway for both the existing house
and the proposed new house for the first 100± feet. The proposed new
house- will have it's own driveway from that point on extending an additional
1500± feet. A 16X24' turnaround has been provided about half way up the
driveway. No activity is proposed within the wetlands or wetland buffer.
QUELQ_P_M_ENT SCHEDULE
It is anticipated that grading and construction activities will begin in the
summer of 2001,and will be- completed within 1 year. The Lot will be
developed by the owner, Clearing, grubbing and grading will be limited to the
areas adjacent to th-e proposed house, driveway and septic system.
SEQU24-CE OF CONSTRUCTION
1. Install erosion and sediment control devices.
2. Provide non -tracking construction entrance at proposed driveway.
3. Clear,grub and rough grade proposed driveway and site.
4. Excavate foundation hole and begin house construction.
5. Install septic system and well.
6. Complete ho -use construction.
7. Complete final grading and install driveway.
8. Loorn, seed and mulch disturbed areas.
9. Remove erosion and sediment control devices.

,&LQPMENT ONTROL PLAN
Prior to the, comt-mencement of operations in accordance with any permit
issued by the Town of Montville- Planning and Zoning Commission, the
Contractor shall install all erosion and sediment control devices.
Contractors involved in driveway construction or the development of the new
lot shall obtain a site inspection from the Montville Zoning Enforcement
Officer to ensure that all erosion and sediment control measures have been
installed in accordance with this narrative. Upon certification with respect to
the installation of erosion and sediment control measures, the Contractor
may commence operations pursuant to the permit. Erosion and sediment
control devices shall be installed in accordance with the "Filter Barrier
Installation & Maintenance" and "Hay Bole Installation & Maintenance"
sections of this narrative hereinafter contained.
Dust control will be accomplished by spraying with water.
Existing catch basins, within the limits of construction, must be protected
with on inlet sediment control device.
The propos-ed planting
schedule is to be adhered to during the planting of
disturbed areas throughout the proposed construction site.
Final stabilization of the site is to follow the procedures outlined in
permanent vegetative cover. If necessary a temporary vegetative cover is to
be provided until a permanent cover can be applied.
During the stabilization period, eriod, all erosion and sediment control devices
control devices shall be maintained in proper working order. The Owner's
representative shall be responsible for checking all erosion and sediment
control measures on a twice -weekly basis during the stabilization period
and after each 'Storm event. During the stabilization period, with respect to
the site, any erosion which occurs within disturbed areas shall be immediately
repaired and restabilized.
Once stabilization has been completed and certification thereof obtained in
writing from the Zoning Enforcement Officer of the Town of Montville, erosion
and sediment control devices shall be removed by the Contractor.
FILTER UARRIER INSTALLATION Al MAINTENANQ
1, Dig a 6" trench on the upfvili side of the barrier location.
2. Position the posts on the downhill side of the barrier and drive the
post 1.5 feet into the ground.
3. Lay the bottom- 6"' of the fobric •in the trench to pre -vent undermining
and back -fill.
4. Inspect and repair barrier after heavy rainfall.
5. Sediment deposits are to be removed when they reach a height of one
foot behind the barrier and are to be deposited in an area which is
not, regulated by the lnl-a,nd Wetlands Commission.
6. Inspections and necessary repairs will be made twice -weekly.
