Please see below for my message to the commission since I am unable to attend the meeting in
person tonight.
“Good Evening members of the Commission. I apologize for not being able to attend and take any
questions in-person. The application before you is a revised timber harvest notification and map for
the already approved timber harvest on 24 Route 82. Jabez Financial, LLC has since then acquired
the property abutting the west and south, 30 Route 82 and also wants to conduct a timber harvest
on that parcel. To the south, there is a wetland where we will harvest trees up to the edge but there
will be no wetlands entering or crossing. Some tree tops and slash may fall into the outer edge of the
wetland. There are also 2 existing and previously used stream crossings now involved with the
harvest. The northern crossing is an existing culvert and the southern crossing will be stabilized and
upheld with corduroy and/or temporary timber bridge mats. As always, hay, seed, water bars, and
any other Best Management Practices will be used in line with this harvest. There will be no change
involved with the drainage on 24 Route 82. The same landing area, existing on 24 Route 82, will still
be the only landing area.”

on the project.
