HomeMy WebLinkAbout23SITE3 2EnterpriseDr StatementUse Rev031523 March 15, 2023 Town of Montville Planning Department 310 Norwich-New London Turnpike Montville, CT 06382 RE: Site Plan 2 Enterprise Lane The proposed development on the property will be the 9,000 SF new building, a loading dock, retaining walls, and other associated site work on the 0.94-acre property. The footprint of the building will be 7,500 SF. The ground level of the building will consist of 7,500 SF of manufacturing space. There will also be a 1,500 SF mezzanine that will be used for office space. The manufacturing on the site will be similar to a typical woodshop, except with plastic. The shop will have a table saw, shapers, and chop saws. The manufacturing process will include cutting plastic boards and pipes, and screwing or gluing them together to make window trim, decorative posts and columns, etc. There is no public sewer or water in close proximity to the site, therefore a septic system with concrete galleys will be installed under the parking lot just northeast of the building and a well will be installed in the southeast corner of the site.
