Subject: RE: Construction Storm Water Permit
John,
I have completed my review of the Gateway Montville site. As a Locally Approvable registration
for disturbance of over 15 acres, this project has been reviewed by an independent Qualified
Professional Engineer and does not require review by DEEP staff. As a Locally Approvable
registration, this permit would be issued automatically following the 60 day public availability
period. However, to accommodate your request for issuance of the permit prior to the 60 days,
I have reviewed the SPCP and found it to be in compliance with our permit.
Your permit is hereby granted and you may begin work on the site. Please be aware that
consideration of shortening the public availability timeline is determined on a case-by-case
basis. By granting this streamlined issuance, there is no guarantee or obligation on the part of
DEEP to grant the same consideration for future registrations.
Yours,
Chris
