RE: Wetland Restoration Plan
10,18,26,34,42, Sachatello Industrial Drive and 335 Bultertown Road
GSD-151
Dear Ms. Woodlock:
Green Site Design is submitting this letter to accompany a Wetland Restoration
Plan set submitted to your office on Friday, October 26th, for the above referenced site.
This letter is directly responsive to comments previously submitted by Demian Sorrentino
AICP, CSS of Boundaries LLC and follows the same numerical sequence as is used in
that letter.
Plan Comments:
1. The revised plan calls out the areas (in square feet) of wetland fill, location of
sedimentation, and areas of disturbance to the Upland Review Area (U RA).
2. Features such as approximate stockpile locations and areas sedimentation have
been added to the plans.
3. New topography has been added as well as proposed grading to handle storm
water flows.
4. The wetlands have been re-nagged as of 10/21/2018.
5. The depicted wetland work was performed in 2003.
6. The new plans will be presented to the commission with signatures.
7. A construction sequence has been provided as well as a planting and seeding plan
calling for trees, shrubs, and plugs of wetland vegetation at each wetland impact
location.
8. Construction details have been provided.

Review Comments and Recommendations:
Wetland Impact Area #1
1. Green Site Design concurs.
2. The approximate limit is now shown.
3. It appears that removal of these sediments would cause undue damage to the
existing, dense native vegetation. Green Site Design proposes over seeding this
area with wetland seed mix.
4. A sediment trap, fed by a swale, is provided on the revised plans
Wetland Impact Area #2
1. Green Site Design concurs and has flagged the wetland boundary.
2. Green Site Design concurs and notes that Lombardi will no longer import chicken
manure to the site, thus removing the source of nutrients.
3. A swale leading to a sediment trap is shown on the revised plans.
Wetland Impact Area #3
1. Green Site Design concurs and has re-delineated the wetland.
2. Green Site Design has shown restoration and storm water management that moves
the usable area further from the wetland at this part of the site.
3. See #2 above.
Wetland Impact Area #4
I. Green Site Design concurs.
2. Green Site Design concurs and notes that Lombardi will no longer import chicken
manure to the site, thus removing the source of nutrients.
3. The extent of sediments goes to the limits of clearing and these sediments will be
removed.
4. This area will be over seeded and planted with trees and shrubs.
5. Green Site Design concurs and has shown a sediment trap.
Please note that additional areas of concern were noted during the joint field walk
(Nancy Woodlock, Demian Sorrentino and Robert Russo) of October 22, 2018. They are
addressed as follows:
Wetland Impact Area #5:
1. Green Site shows minor regrading and seeding to re-establish vegetation
within URA; narrowing width of the access drive are shown on the plans.
Wetland Impact Area #6
1. Minor re-grading and seeding to establish vegetation are shown.
Wetland Impact Area #7
1. Removal of equipment and materials; minor regrading and seeding to re
establish vegetation within URA are shown.
Wetland Impact Area #8
]. The construction of a larger sediment basin with spread apron outlet is shown.
Wetland Impact Area #9
I. The basin outlet will be improved to stop sediment release.

Very truly yours,
