Applicant Request: Regulated activities within upland review area associated with
replacement of stairs, walkway & retaining wall in conjunction with single-family residence.

Staff Comments:
The .43-acre property located at 64 Laurel Point Dr. is developed with single-family residence.
The applicant is proposing repair and/replace the stairway, walkway that leads down to the water
and replace the retaining wall and add a porch onto existing boat house.
The proposed development of this project will disturb 2,400 of upland review area.
Significant Impact
Where uses/proposals are determined to meet the criteria of a significant impact as defined in the
Regulations, a public hearing must be scheduled by the IWC. A permit may be issued without a
hearing following the petition period 14 days after receipt of application, subsequently action on
the application needs to be tabled to the May 17, 2022 meeting.
Staff Recommendation:
Staff recommends the IWC receive & review Application 22 IWC 8, set a date for a site walk if desired
and table the application to the May 19, 2022 meeting.
