Good Morning Colleen, the WPCA does not have a concern with regards to drainage. Of note,
the plans indicated a large subsurface structure for stormwater control. There appears to be
no concern with regards to the system and the proposed sewer connections. Derek

Colleen. It is clear that BL Companies attended to our comments and at this time the
Superintendent is satisfied that the proposed work will lead to an appropriate connection(s) to
municipal sewer service and water supply. Next is the appropriate application, as-built
drawings, fees, etc. The property owner (or their designated representative) will need to
complete both sewer and water connection applications which include proposed connection
configurations (to the sewer main and water main) and information related to the owner and
property location. There is a $30 sewer (connection) application fee and a $35 water supply
(connection) application fee. Upon receipt, the WPCA (or the WPCA Engineer) will review
information for viability. Connection fees are owed specific to the connection to the 1)
municipal sewer and 2) water supply. The cost will be identified by the WPCA when the
permit(s) are issued. The installation work / fees are consistent with the Sept 2009 WPCA
rules and regulations as altered by the Aug 2018 WPCA regular meeting minutes, as provided
on the WPCA website.

Good Morning and Happy Thanksgiving. I reviewed the site plans cited in your email regarding
a "possible location of an 8-inch drain pipe". There appears to be no concern if the pipe is
installed per industry standards even with extension on to the easement. Plan GD-1 indicates
a sophisticated stormwater management system onsite. Derek

Derek The site plan for the development of the two lots referenced above show two drainage
easements (Sheet AL-1) on the lots. These easements were obtained in 1990 associated with the
sewer installation on Rt. 32.
The proposed building on the site will be built in the easement area and apparently over
the drainage pipe. The need for the perforated pipe and the associated easements rests with the
WPCA. Tom

Hi Colleen. I don’t see a fire protection line in the plans- is there one or even needed? Also
they have the sewer tying into a manhole- I don’t know about elevations. There are two
sewer stubs located on the property . Just in case....
