RE: Town Acceptance of Road Widening Strips – #22SUB3 – Approved 7/26/22
East Lake Road and Fire Street (MBL 007-035-000), Oakdale, CT
Dear Chairman McNally:
The Planning and Zoning Commission, on July 28, 2022, voted to approve Application
#22SUB3, East Lake Road & Fire Street (MBL 007-035-000), Oakdale, CT,
Sunmar/RAF Builders, Applicant for an 8-Lot Subdivision.
As part of this approval, the Applicant shall convey drainage easement and road widening
strips to the Town of Montville as shown on a plan entitled “Subdivision Plan, Record
Subdivision Plan, Prepared for Sunmar/RAF Builders, LLC, East Lake Road & Fire
Street, Montville (Oakdale), CT, Prepared by Boundaries, LLC, Dated June 2022,
Revised to 7/11/22.”
Quit Claim Deeds and Easements to the town have been prepared and forwarded to Town
Attorney Matthew Willis. At this time, I request the Town Council make a resolution to
accept the road widening strips as approved in the above-referenced subdivision plan and
as approved by Attorney Willis in order for the Quit Claim Deeds and Easements to be
filed on the Land Records in the Office of the Town Clerk.

RESOLUTION REQUESTED:
That the Town Council resolve to accept road widening strips and drainage easements
required per Planning & Zoning Commission subdivision application #22SUB3,
approved on July 28, 2022, in accordance with a plan entitled “Subdivision Plan, “Record
Subdivision Plan”, Prepared for Sunmar/RAF Builders, LLC, East Lake Road & Fire
Street, Montville (Oakdale), CT, Prepared by Boundaries, LLC, Dated June 2022,
Revised to 7/11/22.”
