Date Received by IWC: February 17, 2022 (Decision Required Date – 4/23/2022)
Applicant Request: Regulated activity (driveway) within upland review area associated with Single-
family Residence and site improvements
Activity Description:
Wetland Disturbance Area 0 sqft
Watercourse/Waterbody Disturbance Area 0 LF
Upland Review Disturbance Area 1,200 +/- sqft
Staff Comments:
The 6.77-acre property is located at 631 Fire St and in the R-120 Zone.
The applicant is proposing to build a single-family residence & associated site improvements,
including a driveway in URA.
The driveway was constructed and paved without the benefit of required URA permit.
As part of the proposed improvements a paved driveway will be installed. The beginning portion
of the driveway, approximately 50', is located in the upland review area. Approximately 40 cubic
yards of material will need to be excavated for the grading of the driveway. Erosion & Control
measures (silt fence) will be placed between the proposed driveway and the wetlands.
Significant Impact:
Where uses/proposals are determined to meet the criteria of a significant impact as defined in the
Regulations, a public hearing must be scheduled by the IWC. A permit may be issued without a hearing
following the petition period 14 days after receipt of application, subsequently action on the application
needs to be tabled to the March 17, 2022 meeting.
Staff Recommendation: Staff recommends the IWC receive & review Application 22 IWC 3 and table the application to the March
17, 2022 meeting for decision.
