He didn’t say anything about grading – so I’m not sure how to respond. If grading means pulling soil back from the edge & leveling that’s OK, but if grading means pushing soil over the edge, that’s not what the permit covered. Placing a layer of soil or sod along the top would be OK. In addition he indicated that he would be grading off the top of the slope and placing sod there for stabilization. If this is acceptable please let me know so I let him know as soon as possible.
