Colleen,
This is an update on the stream:
I met at the site with John Ianni, on Monday June 9, 2014. John is a Registered Soil Scientist with Highland Soil in Coventry, CT and viewed the subject area. He said he was not an Engineer
and he felt the project needed an engineer to propose a solution. He said the soil on the uphill side was eroding into the stream and causing it to overflow but he really did not do
projects but recommended Towne Engineering in Willimantic.
I called Joe Boucher at Town Engineering and he said they would take on the project but could not get to it for 2 weeks.
He said he would write you a letter indicating that if you required it.
I also apologize but my brother is undergoing surgery and I will be flying to Florida on June 18 for a week so I will not be able to attend the wetlands meeting on the 19th.
Mr. Ianni said we had mitigated the problem and the water flow has ebbed because there isn’t any more snow melting so I hope you will extend us some time to propose a long term solution
to the problem.
I will send some pictures tomorrow.

As we discussed, I have placed hay bales along the affected area of the stream and will erect a orange construction fence over the weekend.
I will also find another engineer as CLA Engineers are not appropriate since they are the towns engineers.
