Dear Bill:
The above-noted application pending before the Planning & Zoning Commission
is scheduled for a Public Hearing to be held in the Town Council Chambers, Montville
Town Hall, on Tuesday, April 14 at 7:00 p.m.
At this time, you should send out, via certified mail, letters to the adjoining
property owners pursuant to Section 17.3.c.3 of the Zoning Regulations, notifying them
of the scheduled hearing. It is also imperative that you bring a copy of the letter, along
with the mailing receipts from the certified letters, to this office, prior on or before
Friday, April 9, 2009. For use you will find a copy of the legal notice as published in the
New London Day, along with a copy of Section 17.3.c.3.
17.3.c.3. Notice to Adjoining Owners. The applicant shall also notify all adjoining
landowners of record of the date, time and place of the public hearing of the Commission
at which said Special Permit is to be considered no less than ten (10) days preceding the
date of said hearing, and shall submit proof to the Planning Office of such notification.
No notice shall be required for the continuation of a public hearing once it has been
opened.
It will be necessary for you or your agent to come and be heard at this hearing.
