Proposed Subdivision will allow for the creation of 5 building
lots ranging in size from 25,24? s.f. to 50.084 s.f. Each will
be serviced by on site Municipal water d Municipal sewer. Total
area to be dtscurbed = 1.2 t acres
SOILS•
The proposed site is composed mainly of two soil types;
Charlton - Hollis "CrC" t "CrD"
I. "CrC" Fine sandy looms, very rocky, with 5 to 15 percent slopes.
These gently sloping to sloping complex consists of somewhat
excessively drained and well drained soils, on glacial till 4
upland londforms.
2. "CrD" Fine sandy looms, very rocky, with 15 to 45 percent slopes.
These moderately steep to steep complex consists of somewhat
excessively drained and well drained soils, on glacial till 4
upland landforms.
; iwA
Construction will begin with clearing, grubbing and rough grading
of the proposed sites. Following rough grading procedures, all drainage
and utility structures and the associated piping will be installed and
protected with hay bales or slit fence. These protective measures are to
remain in place and properly maintained throughout construction.
All work must be completed within 5 years, as required by the Connecticut
General Statutes.
Each site will be graded so that all possible trees on site will be
saved to provide buffers to adjoining lots.
Topsoil will be stockpiled on site and utilized during final grading.
A non -tracking construction entrance is to be provided at each driveway.
Development of the site will be performed by The Owner. He,
will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of erosion
and sediment control measures reR•vired throughout construction.
The sedimentation control mechanisms shall remain in place from the
start of construction until permanent vegetation has been established.
The representative for the Town of Montville will be notified when the
sediment and erosion control structures are initially in place. Once
the proposed development, seeding and planting have been completed,
the representative shall be notified to Inspect the site. These
control measures will not be removed until this inspection Is complete.
All stripping is to be confined to the immediate construction area.
Topsoil shall be stockpiled so that slopes do not exceed 2 to I. A
hay bale sediment barrier is to surround each stockpile and a temporary
vegetative cover provided.
Dust control will be accomplished by spraying with water and if
necessary, the application of calcium chloride.
The proposed planting schedule is to be adhered to during the
planting of disturbed areas throughout the proposed construction site.
Final stabilization of the site is to follow the procedures outlined in permanent
vegetative cover. If necessary a temporary vegetative cover is to be provided
until a permanent cover can be applied.

which is not regulated by the Inland Wetlands Commi sion.
4. Inspections and necessary repairs will be made twice weekly.
TEMPORARY VEOPETATiVE COVER:
A temporary seeding of Rye brass will be completed ithin 15 days
of the formation of stockpile(s). if the soil in the stockoiles has

tracked equipment up and down slope over entire surface so cleat marks
are parallel to contour.
PERMANENT VEOETATiVC COVER•
Topsoil will be replaced once the excavation has been completed
and the shoulders are graded to a slope no greater than 5 to 1.
Topsoil will be spread at a minimum compacted depth of 4 inches.
Once the topsoil has been spread, ail stones two Inches or larger
In any dimension will be removed as well as debris. Apply agricultural
ground limestone at the rate of two tons per acre or 100 lbs. per
