An application for activity in upland review area in conjunction with the removal of tree
limbs and underbrush pruning to improve view and limit encroachment to dwelling

History
Brendan Gigliotta/64 Laurel Point Drive, LLC is buying the property and the closing will
be the first week of September
Attached is a letter by current property to allow work to be done
The property is over grown with brush and trees and has been in disrepair for a very long
time
Staff Comments
The applicant would like to prune underbrush and limb some trees so that they can
determine future activities for additional repairs that may need to be done on the
property, which are currently hidden by brush, and create a view of the lake
At no time will the applicant be digging up bushes or cutting down trees
Attached are pictures and a sketch of the site (GIS) showing proposed work area. The
blue lines represents the Upland Review Area (URA) where most of the work will be
conducted
This activity may be considered a “Permitted Use as of Right” under Section 4.1d
The Commission may want to schedule a site walk

After giving due consideration to all relevant factors including those in Section 10 and or Section
4 of the Montville Inland Wetland Regulation and Section 22a-41 of the Connecticut General
Statutes, I move to approve application:
