SEEDBED PREPARATION 6 SEEDING
The site will be fine graded and the soil surface raked
o-
to remove stones larg^r than 2 inches in diameter.
Topsoil will be spread at a minimum compacted depth o
4 inches. Once the topsoil has been spread, all stones
2 inches or larger will be removed as well as debris.
Apply agricultural ground limestone at a rate of 100 lbs.
per 1000 square feet. Apply 10-10-10 fertilizer or equiv-
alent at a rate of 7.5 lbs. per 1000 square feet. Do not
apply fertilizer to wetland areas. work lime and fertilizer
into the soil to a depth of 4 inches. Inspect seedbed
before seeding. If traffic has compacted the soil, retill
compacted areas. Apply the following grass seed mix.

dates, a mulch cover will be maintained unitl seeding can be
accomplished.
