On March 14, 2020, Governor Ned Lamont issued an Executive Order 7B suspending in-person
open meeting requirements, and to hold such meetings or proceedings remotely by conference
call, videoconference or other technology.

For all publicly broadcasted meetings, public comment on agenda items or topics in
accordance with the Town Charter may be submitted in writing in advance or by live
audio via GoToMeeting.
Written comments must be emailed to the Town Clerk at townclerk@montville-ct.org at least 1 working
day in advance (if the meeting is on a Monday the questions must be submitted by close of business the
previous Friday).
Written comments may not be read in their entirety, but rather similar messages may be aggregated or
paraphrased for submission to the Board.
Live audio comments may be made via GoToMeeting by registering at the web address or calling from your
telephone or computer mic & speakers (VoIP) noted above.
Comments will only be accepted at times designated for public comment by the Chair of the meeting.
Procedures, decorum, timeliness and suitability shall be followed and enforced in the same manner as if the
meeting were held in person.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Montville Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a virtual public hearing on Wednesday,
October 7, 2020, commencing at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at Montville Town Hall for the
following applications:
220 ZBA 1 – Lake Drive, (108-169-000), Oakdale, CT – Owner/Applicant: Michael D. Green
& Susan C. Green A request to allow relief from the Section 4.10.4.2 to allow the construction of
a garage on a vacant legally non-conforming lot directly across the street from the Applicant’s
home and also relief of Sections 7.6.1(front) and 7.6.3 (rear) R-80 setback requirements to allow
for the garage’s construction
220 ZBA 2 Owner/Applicant: Ryan Dehler, 1384 Route 85 (006-021-000) A request for
relief of Section 11.6.2 for a 25’ setback waiver to allow for the construction of a building within
5’ off the side property line.
