Given: The stair well has a 1 hour rating?? Given: The floor framing at the B Level is an F22 which has a 1 hour rating Question: How does the wall finish to the floor at terminus of the W3 wall at the F22 Floor Answered By: Company: Date: Building B Stair 2 Shaft Rating/Construction The W3 wall at the North end of Building B Stair 2 terminates at a CFMF beam just below the basement heavy-timber floor system. See attached structural notes (1/15/20 email) and attached architectural sketches ASK45A-D. On the east side: At the upper floors, the decking is running n/s. The CFMF submittal shows the deckinginterrupting the wall and sitting on a deflection track, which is acceptable. At floor level 1, there will be a short length of unsupported deck between the first joist andedge of existing decking. This can be supported on the CFMF wall. The deflection tracks at level B and level 1 should be replaced with a rigid connection to support this small area. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments. Thanks, Beth Elizabeth A.
