PBA‐BSC‐Aztech 07/25/19 07/29/19On hold for Frank B.'s reviewOPEN RFI 04 Building M Basement Access 1)There would appear to be no permanent access below building M first floor. Is the reason it's in a flood zone and will not be used at all? If there is another reason should we install a permanent bulkhead for access at the old ramp to the basement or install at the other end of the building?2)I also don’t see any heat called for and concern about plumbing waste linefreezing. Should you specify heat trace? If we install heat trace access will be needed.3)The drawings doesn’t specify after the ramp is removed how to close up the existing foundation opening, please show details.4)The basement sub slab calls to be infilled and a new poured slab.In order to save money can we leave the slab as is and not place new concrete? If new slab is required confirm what elevation to pour to.5)Sprinkler company is using NFPA rule that requires sprinkler coverage in the basementnot NFPA‐R. The current location is Building A level 2.
