Up to 45X of the dry weight of the representativtia sample may beretainedonthe14sieve (This is the grovel portion of the sample). c. The material that passes the 14 sieve is than reweighed and the sieve analysis started. d: The remaining sample shall meet the following gradation criteriaSieveSizePercentpassing 4 100 10 70.E - 100' 140 10X - 50X 100 OX - 2OX 1200 ox - 5X The responsibility for the preparation of the leaching area utilizing select material" is that of the licensed installer. The installer shall take the necessary steps to protect the underlying naturally occurring soils from siltation once exposed. 8. There shall be no cuts within 50' of the downhill side of the system or within 25' of the sides of the system. There shall be no stumps or boulders buried within 50' of the downhill side of the system. There shall be no footing drains or stone placed around or under any proposed structure within 50' (down gradient) of the system. 9.
