I am wondering if it was because I had a capital A and S for your first and last name if that is why it did not go through. Usually though I receive a message that it was not found or could not be sent. As I explained to you on the phone I will contact East Lyme and discuss the situation with them. In addition I will try and set up a site walk to visit the area and determine to whom notices will need to be sent. The process is 1. A letter of inquiry will be sent to the property owner and/or person who is committing the violation. The letter has them respond back to the office within 10 days. 2. If the office does not receive any correspondence within the 10 days an additional letter will be sent out. If after the 2nd letter there is no correspondence then the matter will be turned over to the Town Attorney for review. 3. If the office does receive correspondence then, depending on if the activity is found to be a violation, a Cease and Desist Order will be issued 4. A Cease and Desist Hearing will be held by the Inland Wetlands Commission. The above steps are necessary if the item has to go to the courts. I will keep you updated as I have more information. I did not have anything in my inbox not sure what happened. The clarity of the pictures on the video camera is far superior to the quality in these stills. FYI we are meticulous about our record keeping on this ongoing issue. We are open with communications with all effected towns. The 1st selectman of East Lyme Paul Formica, 1st Selectman of Lyme Ralph Enos and of course Gary Goeschel EL Wetlands and Bill Mullholland from EL zoning. We have been in contact with a DEP officer who is very interested because of the recent ATV activity in Nehantic State Forest from these Environmental Vandals.
