THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT IS TO CONSTRUCT A 24(36' GARAGE AND ASSOCIATED PAVED AND DUST FREE
DRIVEWAY. THE DRIVEWAY WILL REQUIRE 500 SF OF WETLAND TO BE FILLED IN and 1,350 SF OF UPLAND REVIEW AREA
TO BE USED FOR DRIVEWAY CONSTRUCTION.
1) DISIrURBANCE OF SOIL SURFACES IS REGULATED BY STATE LAW. ALL WORK SHALL
COMPLY WITH EROSION CONTROL NOTED ON THIS PLAN.
2) THE; INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF EROSION CONTROL DEVICES IS THE
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE LAND OWNER, DEVELOPER AND EXCAVATION CONTRACTOR.
TOWN OFFICIALS SHALL BE NOTIFIED IN WRITING OF THE NAME, ADDRESS, AND
TELEPHONE NUMBER OF THE INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS WORK (INCLUDING ANY
CHANGES). A PRE -CONSTRUCTION CONFERENCE WITH THE TOWN STAFF IS REQUIRED
PRIOR TO ANY SITE WORK OR DISTURBANCE.
3) THE CONTRACTOR SHALL USE THE 62002 CT Guidelines for Soil Erosion and
Sediment Control. AS AMENDED AS A GUIDE IN CONSTRUCTING THE EROSION
AND SEDIMENT CON71ROLS AS INDICATED ON THESE PLANS.
4) INFORM ALL CONSTRUCTION SITE WORKERS ABOUT THE MAJOR PROVISIONS
OF THE EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL PLAN AND SEEK THEIR COOPERATON
IN A AVOIDING THE DISTURBANCE OF THESE CONTROL
5) THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SCHEDULE ALL OPERATIONS TO LIMIT DISTURBANCE TO
THE, SMALLEST PRACTICAL AREA FOR THE SHORTEST POSSIBLE TIME.
6) THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE TIMELY INSTALLATION,
INSPECTION, REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF EROSION CONTROL DEVICES
TO INSURE PROPER OPERATION.
7) INSPECT AND REPAIR SEDIMENT CONTROL DEVICES AT THE END OF
EACH WORKING DAY AND AFTER EVERY RAINSTORM.
8) THE CONTRACTOR SMALL NOTIFY THE ENGINEER OF UNSATISFACTORY
EROSION CONDITIONS NOT CONTROLLED BY THE EROSION AND SEDIMENT
CONTROL PLAN AND SHALL INSTALL ADDITIONAL MEASURES AS DIRECTED.
9) FIELD CHANCES TO THE EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL PLAN SHALL
BE MADE ONLY WITH THE WRITTEN APPROVAL OF THE ENGINEER AFTER
REFERRAL AND APPROVAL OF THE TOWN STAFF.
10) AC(:UMULATED SEDIMENT REMOVED FROM EROSION CONTROL DEVICES IS
TO BE SPREAD AND STABILIZED IN LEVEL, EROSION RESISTANT LOCATIONS
AS GENERAL FILL WITHIN LAWN AND LANDSCAPE AREAS.
