Prgj ect Narrative:
The goal of the proposed project is to create additional parking/vehicle storage area equivalent to nine parking spaces)
for the B&S Motorcycle repair shop. the proposed parking area represents the smallest economically feasible
expansion of the parking/storage area that can be made on the site. Therefore, this proposal represents a least impact
alternative for development, which achieves the project goals.
The area to the rear (north) of the existing building was considered for a parking area. The narrow width (15 to 20 feet)
of the property to the rear of the building would not allow the necessary turning movements to effectively utilize the
area for parking/storage- The area would provide a maximum of two spaces which could be efficiently )used. In addition,
the presence of utilities at the street line in this area further limit access to the rear of the building.
