SOIL EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL NARRATIVE
THIS APPLICATION IS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW GRAVEL DRIVEWAY FOR A RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY
ACROSS THE INLAND WETLANDS AND REGULATED AREA, THE PROPERTY OWNER WISHES TO OBTAIN VEHICLE
ACCESS TO THE 1,0 ACRES OF HIS PROPERTY ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE INLAND WETLANDS. tHIS LOCATION
WAS CHOSEN AFTER CONSULTATION WITH SOIL SCIENTIST AND DETERMINING THAT THIS LOCATION WOULD HAVE
THE LEAST IMPACT TO THE RESOURCE.
2 CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE FOR SOIL EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROLS:
A. "FIE CENTERLINE OF ''HE NEW DRIVEWAY SHALL BE STAKED IN THE FIELD THOUGH THE REGULATED AREA.
B. INSTALL ALL TEMPORkRY CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCES, SEDIMENT FENCES AND/OR HAY BALE BARRIERS AS
SHOWN ON THIS PLAIT. THE TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION SHALL REMAIN AND BE MAINTAINED IN PLACE
UNTIL CONSTRUCTION IS COMPLETE AND THE' AREA STABILIZED. THE TOWN OF MONT)ALLE (PLANNING
DEPARTMENT SHALL 3E NOTIFIED PRIOR TO COMMENCING CLEARING & GRUBBING.
C. CLEAR TREES, SHRUBS AND BRUSH IN AREAS WHERE GRADING WILL BE REQUIRED AND GRUB AREAS TO
REMOVE ALL S -%MPS, ROOTS, ETC. DISPOSE OF ALL MATERIAL CLEARED AND GRUBBED OFF SITE.

LIFTS AND SHALL BE FREE OF BRUSH, RUBBISH, LOGS, BUILDING DEBRIS, OR ANY' OTHER OBJECTIONABLE MATERIAL.
MOISTEN SOIL SURFACE PERIODICALLY WITH WATER TO MINIMIZE DUST.
F. INSTALL STORM DRAINAGE. INSTALL HAY BALES AT INLET & OUTLET IMMEDIATELY AFTER INSTALLATION.
G. PLACE AND COMPACT BASE MATERIAL TO FINAL GRADE.
H. ALL DISTURBED AREAS NOT WITHIN DRIVEWAY, SHALL BE GRADED AND STABILIZED AS FOLLOWS:
3, THE PIPE CULVERT INS'AWON SHALL TAKE PLACE DURING THE DRY SEASON. IN THE EVENT THAT AN UNFORSEEN
WEATHER CONDITION ARISES (RAIN), DEWATERING, PUMPING AND/OR DIVERSION OF THE WATERCOURSE MAY BE REQUIRED
DEPENDING ON SITE CONDITIONS. SEE THE DEWATERING DETAIL, THIS SHEET. THE TOWN ENGINEER SHALL APPROVE ANY
