During the course of the conversation, we discussed how the town should or could handle notification to all of the affected parties, and how to make the subdivisions legal when this type of situation is discovered. At the present time, this office is aware of illegal subdivisions at the below-noted addresses within the Town of Montville: 1. 308 Butlertown Road 2. 437 Kitemaug Road 3. 30 Church Road (this may have been corrected) The Planning & Zoning Commission would like to know if there is anything within the State Statutes that addresses this type of issue, for guidance as to how the Town should proceed when dealing with this type of situation in order to correct the defects, and to insure the marketability of these properties for the current and the future property owners while protecting the Town. Respectfully, Thomas E. Sanders Assistant Planner, ZEO TES/jal
