RE: NOTICE OF VIOLATION – REQUEST FOR VOLUNTARY COMPLIANCE

Dear Matthew & Tonja:
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the Zoning & Wetlands
Enforcement Officer for the Town of Montville. Pursuant to multiple complaints, on
11/13/2015, I conducted an inspection of your above-referenced property.
Said inspection revealed that you have constructed shed structures on your property
without the benefit of proper permits and that you are keeping a junkyard in violation of
the Montville Zoning Regulations. Additionally, we have received a complaint that an
RV/Camper located on the property is being used as an illegal dwelling unit.
Subsequently, in order to avoid further enforcement action, you must, within seven (7)
days of the date of this letter, contact this office to discuss resolutions to bring your
property in compliance. I can be reached at Town Hall at (860) 848-6753. Thank you
for your anticipated prompt attention to this matter.
