Preston, CT 06365 RE: 218SP1 – Xiu Lang Li - 161 Woodland Drive (Map 90 Lot 82), Uncasville, CT Application for Special Permit to change from Single-family to a Two-family Dwelling. Dear Ms. Metzger: The above-noted application pending before the Planning & Zoning Commission is scheduled for a Public Hearing to be held in the Town Council Chambers, Montville Town Hall, on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. At this time, you should send out, via certified mail (on or before 2/16/18), letters to the adjoining property owners pursuant to Section 17.3.c.3 of the Zoning Regulations, notifying them of the scheduled hearing. It is also imperative that you bring a copy of the letter, along with the mailing receipts from the certified letters, to this office, on or before Wednesday, February 23, 2018. Attached is a sample letter. 17.3.c.3. Notice to Adjoining Owners. The applicant shall also notify all adjoining landowners of record of the date, time and place of the public hearing of the Commission at which said Special Permit is to be considered no less than ten (10) days preceding the date of said hearing, and shall submit proof to the Planning Office of such notification. No notice shall be required for the continuation of a public hearing once it has been opened. It will be necessary for you or your agent to come and be heard at this hearing.
