Uncasville, Connecticut 06382 648-8549 • December 29, 1981 Mr. Russell Brown 3 Pruett Place Chesterfield, Ct. 06370 Dear Mr. Brown, It was a pleasure speaking with you on Thursday, December 24, 1981. As we discussed, it appears that your home has been constructed in violation of the zoning regulations and is poss- ibly within six (6) feet of your side yard property line. This is in violation of the Bulk Regulations which require a minimum distance of fifteen ( 15) feet. Your alternatives are to apply for a side yard setback voriance and go before the Zoning Board of Appeals, or pur- chase additional land from the adjoining lot to meet the side yard setback requirement. Should you chose the latter alter- native, be sure that you do not decrease the adjacent lot from which you purchase land to less than 40,000 square feet of area and 150' of frontaoe. Please be advised that if this office does not receive notification of intent to comply with the zoning regulations within 14 days, I shall be forced to refer the matter to the Town Attorney and recommend that legal action be initiated under section 8.41 of the regulations. A copy of this section is attached. Sincerely Yours, MrAvaroJtAnIsA13 Michael J. Murphy Town Planner/Zoning Officer MJM: slp cc: Charles MacNeil ZFC File 7EO ✓
