Please inform the contractor that I can not accept
the position of the outside pass door in she garage.
The pass door will have to be lowered to a 71"
maximum above the garage floor grade in order to qual-
ify for a Certificate of Occupancy.

Dear Mrs . Sobolewski,
I agree with the fact that you have a contract with
Mr . Norton for the entire job. The entire job does include
knocking dc',,n the balanc of the building and filling in
the foundation.
You must understand my position, however, and that is
that as the property owner I only have recourse against you .
I would suggest that you get a local contractor to per-
form the balance of the work.
I have an active file on this property and you may have
recourse to it in pursuing Mr. Norton in a court of law.
I never talked with Mr. Norton, however, the people
that worked for him assured me that they would have the
site filled and graded.
Please keep me informed concerning your progress in
this matter.
