Uncasville, CT 06382 Tel. 860-848-3030,Ext.382 Fax. 860-848-7231 8/1/07 Michael Desautels 15 Pires Drive Oakdale Ct 06370 Dear Michael During a resent review of our files it was established that permit#B 2003 -0650 dated November 24 2003 for an addition and permit#M2007—0005 for installation of a boiler has never been closed out because a certificate of occupancy was never issued for the addition and a certificate of approval for the boiler The inspections were never done so it is necessary that you call our office between 8:00 and 4:30 to schedule an inspection then the certificate of occupancy can be issued. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated Please be informed that the use of this addition without the required inspections and issuance of a Certificate of occupancy would constitute a violation under the Connecticut Building Code. Desautels 15 Pires Drive Oakdale, CT 06370 Dear Mr. Desautels During a resent review of our files it was establish that there are two permits that remain open which have not been issued a certificate of occupancy. The permit for an addition constructed under permit# B2003- 0650 is lacking the required final inspection for the issuing of a certificate of occupancy. Per section 111 in CABO of the Connecticut State Building Code, "For onsite construction, from time to time the building official, upon notification from the permit holder or his agent, shall make or cause to be made any necessary inspections and shall either approve that portion of the construction as completed or shall notify the permit holder or his or her agent wherein the same fails to comply with this code." Please call our office at the number listed above to schedule the required inspection and inform use as to the status of the work performed under this permit, in order to close out this permit.
