Statement of special inspections was given to the Owner. Concrete foundation has been placed. Soil has been backfilled up to finished grade and along foundation walls. Steel beams and columns have been erected and bolts are fully engaged. I) A reinspection of items reported on 03-06-98 as being deficient was performed today. A) Item IA1 - has been welded and is secure. B) Item 1A2 - bolts have been tightened and are acceptable. C) Item IB1 - has been corrected and is acceptable. D) Item 1C - has been corrected and is acceptable. E) Item ID1a - has been patched. F) Item ID1b - all screws are in on this side and acceptable. G) Item ID2a & b - missing screws have been installed and acceptable. H) Item ID3 - has been completed and is acceptable. I) A visual inspection of this structure was performed today on the topics listed below. A) Anchor bolt nuts were inspected for tightness and unless otherwise noted, are acceptable. 1) North side of A-5 column - loose anchor bolt nut. 2) East side of A-3 column - loose anchor bolt nuts. B) Wall girts were inspected for complete bolted connections and unless otherwise noted, are acceptable. 1) Passage door at E5 girt to door frame - not bolted. C) Passage doorways at 1 line and E line, the door frame needs to be anchored to the foundation. D) Exterior paneling was inspected for damage and missing fasteners. Page 1 of 2 Client: W.
