The panel is a. o 1,2_ 2%" in depth and provides a net coverage of 24". The aluminum c VL alloy is a 3004 1119. The panel is coated with the finest thermosetting acrylic finish, white or bronze. COLUMNS: Structural Columns are manufactured from 11 Gauge steel. The columns are die-formed and provide a tapered (101'ii" to 4V2")box design with a column width of 3%2". The steel conforms to: Asim A.36 or equivalent specifications'with 36,000 PSI yield strength and 58,000 PSI tensile strength. RAFTERS: Structural Rafters are manufactured from I1 Gauge steel. "Ihe rafters are die-formed and provide a tapered (IOW to 4v2") box design with a column width of 3%". The steel conforms to: ASTM A36 or equivalent specifications. PURLINS: Structural' Purlins are manufactured from 6063-T6 aluminum alloy. The purlins are extruded into a modified (C) shape in design and measure 6" wide by 2'4" in width. PLATES: Structural Steel Plates are used in various areas of the shelter and its components. Column Base Plates, Butt Plates, Diagonal Braces, Purlin Brackets and Tie Blocks are manufactured from 1/4" steel plate. The stee' confirms to: ASTM A36 or equivalent specifcati..,is. FASTENERS: Structural Steel Fasteners 1/2" Diameter by either 1'/1" or 41/2" in length are used on all shelters. The bolts, nuts and washers are hot dipped galvanized and conform to ASTM A449 Type 2 (Refer to MPC*) #14 x W Hex Washer Head TEK III Screws with neoprene washers are used for fastening roof panels to structural steel. #8 x 3/8" or #8 x '/2" Hex Washer Head TEK II Screws are used for fastening Gutter, Facia Trim and Roof Panels. The footing structural drawings shall be used in conjunction with the manufacturer's structural drawings. 2. All concrete design and construction work shall be in accordance with the State of Connecticut Building Code requirements for reinforced concrete (ACI 318-89) and specifications for structural concrete for buildings (ACI 301-84, Rev. 1988) 3. All footings shall be founded on undisturbed soil having a minimum allowable soil pressure of 1.50 tons per sq. ft. A minimum frost cover of 48" shall be maintained. 4. a) All cast-in-place concrete shall have a minimum ultimate strength of 3,000 pounds per square inch at age 28 days 5. All reinforcement shall be deformed bars of intermediate grade new billet steel conforming to ASTM A615 Grade 40 OR 60, and welded wire fabric ASTM A82, or A185. 6. All rebars when spliced shall lap a minimum of 24 bar diameter or 12" whichever is larger unless noticed otherwise. 7. a) Minimum Inside diameter of bend for rebars: Bar Size Minimum Diameter #3 to 8 6 bar diameter 7 b) Minimum Inside diameter of bend for ties and stirrups: not less than 4 bar diameter for bars #5 and smaller. 8. Concrete walls and columns shall be temporarily braced against earth pressure, wind and other forces until slabs, or beams have been in place and have obtained required concrete ultimate strength. 9. Anchor bolts shall be either ASTM A307 with square heads, or threaded rods of A36 steel with standard hexagonal nuts and washers. Anchor plates shall be A36 steel.
