Todd Barber, on 9-12-12 you signed a contract with Absolute Electric to update the electrical
system in a house you remodeled at 15 Pink Row, Uncasville CT. This contract is broken up into 3
payments;the first starting payment of$2000.00 has been paid in full. The second payment of$2000.00
for the completion of the rough wire of the existing house and 200 amp service upgrade has also been
paid in full. The site was inspected for electrical rough wire and was approved by the Town of Montville.
On 12-6-12 Absolute Electric went to the worksite to complete the final section of the contract which
included the trim out/finish work such as installing outlets, switches and light fixtures. The homeowner,
Todd Barber, had already purchased and installed the outlets, switches, and light fixtures. The
installation was not functioning properly, and the wiring connections were not done correctly.Joshua
Ensling from Absolute Electric informed Todd Barber immediately that by purchasing and installing his
own electrical devices that he had voided his one year warranty, and that Absolute Electric believes he
breached contract and voided the third and final portion of the contract as agreed.Absolute Electric will
not be liable or involved with the installation from this point forward.
Todd Barber will not be charged for the last portion of the contract in the amount of$800. The
agreement is now void.
Absolute Electric is willing to sign into a new agreement to repair and remake all of the splices and
terminations made by Todd Barber. This would allow him to keep his one year warranty and would
insure the installation is done correctly.Absolute Electric charges$70 labor per man hour plus the cost
of any material we provide. If you would like to make this agreement please contact Josh Ensling at the
number above.
