This letter is to inform you that I must reject your applications due to the following. During my review of the files for these properties I noted that due to the age of these structures there are no open permits for their construction. After conferring with the Office of the State Building Inspector, I have determined that you must apply for permits for the construction of the buildings. The interior framing and framing for the exterior decks and stairs will be included in those permits. As part of you applications you must furnish a complete set of plans for each building, including, but not limited to structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression and alarm and energy compliance drawings, as well as an approved site plan. You will be required to furnish two sets of these construction documents to the Building Department and one set to the Fire Marshal. Please be advised that the Building Department and Fire Marshals Office are willing to meet with you and your architect and or engineer to explain these requirements and to answer any questions you may have concerning this project.
