During this visit, the Contractors were met while various construction activities were being performed. These included: Placing exterior insulation and metal sheathing. Missing clips were placed, X-bracing was placed and tensioned. Work appeared satisfactory pending thorough inspection by testing lab. During this visit, the steel erector was met while various construction activities were being performed. These included: Placing missing side girts and steel clips. Steel erector was reminded to document bolting, welding, and erection of steel framing through testing lab. During this visit, noticed that: Placement and compaction of fill material against concrete foundation walls and for concrete slab on grade still in progress. Field density tests through testing lab for compaction percentages of minimum of 95% of its maximum dry density is required. During this visit, William Rheaume was met while various construction activities were being performed. These included: — Placing and compacting fill material against concrete foundation walls and for slab on grade. Owner was reminded that backfilling shall be in lifts not exceeding 12" in thickness in its loose condition. During this visit, noticed that: - Placed concrete for foundation walls and retaining walls appeared satisfactory. - Backfilling against concrete foundation walls and for concrete slab on grade shall be in lifts not exceeding 12" thickness in its loose condition. Each lift shall be compacted to minimum of 95% of its maximum dry density, established via modified proctor. During this visit,the Contractors were met while various construction activities were being performed. These included: - Placing formwork and steel reinforcement for concrete section of footing at front line of building. - Foundation walls and retaining wall at rear and sides of building. — Contractors stated that concrete is scheduled for tomorrow, 09-18-02, and the owner will schedule testing lab inspection to document concrete and reinforcing placement.
