I have yet to hear from anyone regarding the roof at 26 Partridge
Hollow, Oakdale. Please call me at 860-442-4363 or 860-848-1731 as
soon as possible. I have found more damage on the drywall in the
garage.

RE: 26 Partridge Hollow
Dear Mr. D'Asrato;
Our office received a call today from Rae Aim Posher(442-4363), owner of the above residence,
stating that her roof is leaking. This has been an ongoing problem. We are requesting that you
take a look at this situation immediately to prevent any further damage. The sheetrock in the
garage is damaged and will need to be replaced and possibly some of the insulation.
My theory on the water problem is the vinyl corner trim on the house above the garage. The trim
is tight to the roof and when water comes down the j-channel it builds up behind this piece of
trim and goes over the flashing.

First year of owning home: We:not;ced e leak in the roof that was letting water in behind cur drywall where the Garage
Is attached to the house. We called D'Amato and he supposedly sant someone over and fixed lt. It continued to leak.
Early Fail 2001 Made and appointment for Joe (Building Department)to come over to our house, Approximately one
week later Joe came over in the afternoon and ciirnoed up on the roof with my husband. They discussed what possible
issues there could be for the roof to be leaking. Joe to d rr,a at that tme that he would call D'Amato and take care of
everyteing.,, inciudi.eg the removal of the damaged drywall and insufaton.
05/24/:2 Called for the 4th time. Tafeed to Joe(again).., he said that he had a conversation with the siaeing guy
yesterday. He is to fix the area where the flashing Is so that water that builds up does not go through the flashing, He ie
also gong to get DeMato to remove the Dry wail and the insuletlor In the Garage after the roof is fixed,
06/14/02 Called and left message with Town Inspector's office that the roof is still leaking.
06/17/02 Bruce called the Town inspector's office and talked to Joe!agar.; regarding this Issue. Joe stated that he would
write a letter to DeMato and copy us.
06/19/02 Letter received from Toon inwertor.
06/26102 i celied DeMato around 08:3Qam to discuss issue. He tole me that he just talked to the guy who will be over to fix
roof.
06/28/02 9:20am, Jim called me to discuss roof Issue. I faxed him a copy of the letter tto 860.286-3696). Jim told me teat
he would be out to look at the roof before the end of tris week. He rever showed up- My husband was home Wednesday,
Thursday end Friday of this week.
07/11/02 02:30pm Have yet to hear from anyone as to the status of the roof, Noticed more damage on dry wail in
Garage. Trying to fax a letter to Jim (D'Amato'a roof guy)at above fax#requesting that he call me and let me know the
status of roof. Faxed Town of Morteville• BLDG Dept. letter dated 06117102, Notes made by myself and Fax I have been
trying to send to Jim (b'Atr,ato roof guy-to fix roof).

We have listed below things that need to be repaired in our house.
Deck on back of house: Legs are not anchored to the concrete pilings. vwe understand that the town of

2. Basement Door (interior): The door does not catch and stay closes.
Basement Stairs: Steps have significant "checks" (large cracks)- not secure.

5. Roof leaking: During heavy rams, water has been dripping down wail and fireplace. We have discussed
this with you before, and I know you are working on this problem.

7. Bathtub seals: Bathtubs have separated troth grout used to we the floor. Separation needs to be sealed to
prevent water damage to the subfioor.
S. Bathroom Vanities: vanities (.bacicsptashes and countertop) nave separates from the wail and caulking has
pulled away trams the watt in all bathrooms. 'this needs to be repaired.
9. Drywall (throughout house): Numerous nails have popped out, a couple of cracks nave rormec at
doorways,and sections of tape have pulled away from the drywall(In the ceilings and some walls).
10. Kitchen Plumbing: The sink in the kitchen makes a high ditched whine when using hot water. Then the

into the cabinet below whenever the sprayer is used, Sprayer isn't supported well when not in use. {Note: I
have used this hose may be 10 times since we moved in.)
12. kitchen l:abinets: A.cabinet is stili putted away from the wail. The cabinet company tries to fix it out it is
not flush to the kitchen wall. The turnstile door scrapes on one side. 1 ne cabinet company also tries to tot
this but it Is still not rigtit.
13. Kitchen Cabinet Company: I never received a call nac.tc from them after numerous attempts to talk to tate
own/manager about the "Toe Kick" we requested. We bought me ",tarilham Premier"icitcnen cabinets and
paid more for them. We were told that we would get wooden "toe Kicks'"to match the Natural Maple cabinets.
Why have they not returned my calls to discuss this????(Dates I called: 7/3,7/10,9/1,9/5 and 9/1.9)
